FSI Coil Pack Adapter Set, for 1.8T & 4.2 V8

VW/Audi's TSI/FSI engines are direct-injected and have higher compression ratios than the earlier 5-valve engines, so their ignition coil packs are designed to provide a more robust spark than the first coil packs seen in 1.8Ts. They're still pin-compatible with the older coil packs, but they're a little bit longer due to the taller cylinder head on the 2.0T FSI engines.

By fitting these billet aluminum adapter plates, you can fit the longer TSI/FSI coils fit snugly in place and take advantage of these superior coil packs, like the Audi R8 "red top". Whether you're running a big turbo and want the strongest spark possible, or if you just want the latest and most robust ignition tech on your engine, pair these with some coils to breathe new life in to your old motor!

Product Fitment Notes & Potential Issues

For 4-pin ignition coils. Some very early 1.8Ts have 3-pin ignition coil connectors.

4.2 V8 cars like the Phaeton and Touareg will require two sets of adapters.
