Water Pump Assembly - 2.0 TSI CCTA

Look at this water pump and housing assembly! What's the first thing that stands out about it? Yes. Both the pump and housing are all metal. The way Volkswagen should of done it from the factory. They didn't. The original parts started to fail prematurely. But wait, there's more! If your car suffers from any sort of top end oil leak(especially a faulty crankcase breather), guess where most of that expelled oil is going? It's running down the front of the engine and pooling up on top of the water pump housing. That oil will seep between the housing and engine and swell up the o-ring seal causing the housing to crack. The solution to this problem(besides taking care of the oil leaks) is this all metal assembly from Rein. You even get all new hardware and new water pump belt! The only other part that we highly recommend replacing at the same time is the short union piece between the oil cooler and pump housing. See related products below
